WMD Law welcomed as SSFRA Major Partner for 2020 and beyond

A message from our major partner - Kevin Dwyer, Principal of WMD Law…

As we count down the days to the delayed season kick-off this weekend, on behalf of the WMD Law Board and wider team, I wanted to firstly thank you for the opportunity for us to partner with the SSFRA over the coming years and wish you all an enjoyable 2020 season.

As a long term St. Pats player and now father of 4 former and current Redbacks players, I have witnessed the challenges and enjoyment of refereeing. As a former player, current coach and soccer tragic, I took on the challenge of studying the LoTG, attended one of the L4 courses that Gary and Matt hosted back in March and am pleased to say that I am now one of us! I look forward to meeting as many of our members this season now that we share a uniform.

I understand that you have all now received your new partner-branded shirts, drink bottles and explanatory material in the green tote bags. We trust you take a moment to review both the WMD Law brochure that summarises our specialist legal services and the SSFRA-produced Partnership Overview brochure that tells you about

  • the partnership and the WMD Law team (who we are, what we do etc.)

  • how we aim to add long-term value to you as referees

  • a little information to help you in responding to questions from your family, friends & even players this season when our brand is noticed on your uniform – who are WMD Law & why are they sponsoring you?

We hope you wear the uniform with pride. And as a personal thank you, any member who refers us to any family and friends that may need a hand with anything legal, will be awarded a $50 JB Hi Fi voucher. We will coordinate this through Chris Young and David Morgan at each monthly General Meeting and assure you discretion if requested.

In closing, thank you for the opportunity to be your partners on the field, enjoy your season and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible throughout the year.

Warm regards

Kevin Dwyer
