New referee intake course (mid-season)

Are you keen on giving refereeing a go, but missed our pre-season course? Well the SSFRA is running another new referee course over Monday 26 June and Monday 3 July at Buckle Reserve at 6:30PM.

The course is available all individuals aged 14 and over.

To take up this opportunity, simple follow these three steps:

Register and pay If you have not already, please go to https://registration.playfootball.com.au/common/pages/reg/welcomeregplus.aspx?id=75114&save=0&entityid=75390 Register as a 'New Cadet Referee' ($160) if you are under 18 Register as a 'New Adult Referee' ($200) if you are over 18. You will need a credit card to pay the $160/$200 Registration Fee. This includes the course costs, as well as uniform and equipment. If over 18, you can enter your APP number in the WWC field if you don’t already have a WWC “E” number. You must pay for your registration to collect your uniform.
NSW Working With Children Check If you are under 18 or already have a current (paid) WWC “E” number from another role, you can skip this step. It is a Football NSW requirement that all referees over the age of 18 get a paid working with children check. You can get this at https://wwccheck.ocg.nsw.gov.au/Apply. You will need to attend a Service NSW office to confirm your identity.
