FNSW Referee Bob Grabowski Members' Member of the Year Award

Congratulations to our President, Chris Young, who received the Bob Grabowski Members' Member of the Year award at the 2024 Football NSW Referees Branch awards night . Acknowledgement in front of his peers is the least he deserves, as he continues to put in countless hours of effort to coach, develop, and facilitate football refereeing at all levels in the country. Those lucky enough to have Chris as a mentor and colleague can testify to how he passionately and tirelessly works to advance football refereeing and is a reliable shoulder to lean on.

Congratulations Chris, and thank you for your continued hard work across multiple tiers of football refereeing.

FNSW Appointments

Champions of Champions Grand Final

A massive congratulations to Patrick, Thomas, and Olivia for their stellar performance on the 16s Boys Champions of Champions 2024 grand final at Valentine Sports Park! A very even contest at 1-1 brought the game into extra time with a golden goal scored just before the end of the first half in ET. A couple of key match decisions and a tight goal call were very well handled. You all did the association proud!

In addition, both Patrick and Olivia are currently going through the trial process for the FNSW Academy. This involves both theory and practical (including match review and fitness testing) components, competing against other talented referees from across NSW.
